Hi, I’m Savannah (she/her), a California-based wedding and elopement photographer passionate about co-creating intentional celebrations with outdoor-minded couples.
How you choose to get married matters— I see it as an opportunity to embrace a more intentional and fulfilling approach to life outside of the pressures of tradition. I’m here to make that a reality while committed to creating safe, affirming spaces for couples and their loved ones. My services are designed to celebrate your identity, welcome your community, and provide culturally competent care every step of the way.
Outside of wedding photography I am a researcher and do activism work within carceral settings, working both for youth and adults who are in prison. In my free time I love reading, writing, gardening, backpacking, and occasionally binge watching tv with my husband and our dog.

Meet Your Photographer
Love of my life. My favorite second shooter. He's usually my right hand man during weddings, and in all of life's things. We met in 2016 in a coffee shop where I asked him out. We got engaged in 2020 and the rest is history.
He loves board games, our family, a daily cup of coffee, snuggling Cornelius, volunteering in the community, and marveling at Mother Nature.
Meet Sagar!
Fun Fact - we got married twice! We eloped just the two of us in 2021 and had an Indian-Western wedding in 2023. We ran away to Mendocino and got married under the Northern California redwoods, had a "reception" of oysters and champagne along the coast while reading letters our loved ones had sent to open after our ceremony, and ended the evening with an incredible meal at the Harbor House. We wouldn't change a thing ❤️

I grew up in a small town nestled in the Sierra's. Growing up in a more rural area instilled a deep connection and apprechiation for the land around us.

I dropped out of college 5 times before going back in my late 20s!
College
Wedding photography was never the plan. In fact, building a whole business out of it was sort of an accident; a career that kind of fell into my lap. Aren’t the best things in life the unexpected? These intuitive and seemingly spontaneous choices have always led to the most magical things in my life.Through my journey, I have learned what it means to embrace the good and the bad of it all, and how life and relationships can be such a paradox. We need to embrace the messy, the uncomfortable, the things that are hard to look at. It makes up every bit of our shared existence. I think embracing our stories is really important. It not only comes to define us, but it’s the only way to walk away from an experience truly having had lived the moment.
Growing up felt a lot like a Calvin and Hobbes comic book. If I wasn’t scheming my next adventure with my brothers and cousins, I was outside catching crawdads in our backyard creek, climbing the tallest cherry tree in our orchard, or swimming in our local lake. Growing up this way instilled a deep relationship and respect for Mother Nature. My favorite trips as a kid were spent in Mendocino walking the downtown and hunting for sea glass, having my mind blown at 10 when I first visited Yosemite and exploring Santa Cruz as a teenager (which would later inspire my move to the area.)
During my adolescence, I found photography as a safe space amidst hardships in my life during that time. My entrepreneurial spirit got the best of me, and outdoor photos and basic shoots with my friend evolved into getting a business license as a teenager. Little did I know those choices would lead me to run a beautiful business out of the West Coast, and all of these spaces I've always loved would eventually be pillars of where I would work.
